Allana was selected to represent Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her out of the game. It took many years for Allana to return back into playing in the league. Allana made her women's debut in the rugby league against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana also added radio to the game, and has frequent appearances in the 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana does not just a professional athlete as well as a teacher who has a the degree of an educator, has an extensive background beyond sports.
